 Is anyone else getting annoyed with Harry Kalas's breath blowing into the microphone all the time?Just kidding, Harry. Anyway, great start to the season today, what else can you say? I'm glad Kenny Lofton homered, just to spite all the people who think he will suck this season ... which he might, but at least he's headed in the right direction so far. Gamestar goes to Burrell, who had great game offensively, while showing off his arm arm in left, as usual. Not a bad start by Lieber, though not necessarily the best either. Offensively the Phils racked up a lot of hits (14), though I wish they would have capitalized even more on the 3 straight innings of loaded bases. The only hitless Phil was Jim Thome.  |
